  The artist photographs various urban locations around Europe, compositing city views with colored textures; light and motion - weaving rich surreal landscapes that may also have a bit of Turner or Corbet modernity in kind.
  
  In his European Views series, Spencer captures each locale with fascinating street-level detail, but employs dramatic perspective and camera angles. The result is an imagery that transports the viewer into an other-worldly place.
  
  Steven Spencer is an artist and photographer living in London. He studied fine art at London's Guildhall University.
